What is Calvary Fellowship Edmonton?
We believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior and desire to share His redeeming love with others. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, which He gave to us so that we can know Him. Because of that we go through the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book.
Whether you are a follower of Jesus or someone who is seeking to know more about Him, we welcome you to join us on Sunday afternoons as we go through the Bible in a teaching format with Q&A/discussion.
1st Timothy 3:16-17
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Our current study is through the book of Ephesians.
We encourage you to join us as we are going through this book verse by verse. Written by the Apostle Paul to the church in Ephesus, it is also known as one of the "prison epistles". It was written to explain some of the great themes and doctrines of Christianity such as the "walk" of the believer and spiritual warfare. Ephesians has been called "the Queen of the Epistles", as it sums up the main themes in Paul's writings, while taking them a step further. Whereas Romans is the most straightforward expression of the gospel, Ephesians is the most majestic expression of the gospel. Come join us Sundays as we expound on the riches of God's Word in this treasured epistle!
We meet Sundays at 2pm at 8420-145 Street
in the chapel at St. Timothy's in Laurier Heights.
